As part of the Public Advocacy for Voter Protection project (PAVP), Leagues across the country are working to ensure that public assistance agencies in their respective states meet the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) requirement that all individuals seeking assistance at the agencies be offered the opportunity to register to vote.

WHAT: A candidates forum featuring three candidates running to replace Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell. The forum, to be held during the California State PTA's 111th Annual Convention, is co-sponsored by the state PTA and the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund. League President Janis R. Hirohama will serve as moderator.
