The League of Women Voters of Monterey Count will present a free talk titled:  TheEqual Rights Amendment - The Centennial and the Big Picture” at a live-streamed "Lunch and Learn" Meeting on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.We will celebrate the Centennial of the ERA with this presentation by Zoe Nicholson.  It is a virtual, live program of information about the ERA- what it says, who wrote it and what it would do. Each League member has the opportunity to influence the selection of issues on which the national League will focus time, talent, and money. "What's on Your March 2024 Ballot?" with Jodi BalmaJodi Balma started her career as a professor of political science at Fullerton College in 2000.  Her goal is to help students learn how to think about politics and community problems with an emphasis on critical thinking and analysis, regardless of political party or ideology.
