The event Begins with a short program outside the Santa Maria public library, followed by a march to the Regal Theater.  The movie 'The Color Purple' will be screened.  The theater is currently sold out for the movie, but you can contact Lawanda Lyons-Pruitt to get on the Wait List.  Sponsored by NAACP, UDW, City of Santa Maria Public Library System, Future Leaders of America, Santa Maria-Bonita School District, SMJUHSD, Santa Barbara County Dept of Behavioral Wellness, Virginia Souza, Pam Gates and Cliff Solomon.
