If you took action last week and urged your state Senator and Assemblymember to vote YES on AB 256 (Kalra) – Thank you! The Racial Justice Act for All (AB 256, Kalra) is on its way to Governor Newsom's desk. Act now to urge Governor Newsom to sign the Racial Justice Act for All into law!
Discrimination, both past and present, cannot be tolerated in our criminal courts. The Racial Justice Act for All will extend the protections of the California Racial Justice Act of 2020 (AB 2542, Kalra) to those who have already been harmed by convictions or sentences tainted by bias related to race, ethnicity, or national origin. Let Governor Newsom know that we cannot let anyone suffer a moment longer from unfair treatment by the courts–take action now!
