Initaitive and Referendum Reform Discussion

This free, public event features "The Initiative and Referendum Process in California: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" by Professor Michael Salerno of the UC Hastings College of the Law.

Professor Salerno's appearance November 29 is part of our statewide Initiative and Referendum Process Update Study. Many local League study groups are examining the effectiveness of the current process, including the ways in which initiative petitions are currently written, circulated, and funded. All of the League's statewide study resources are available to the public.We encourage you to participate in these discussions, many of which encourage public participation. Find your local League and participate in their events!

NOTE: It is at the College of Alameda Building F. Building F and the College of Alameda campus are wheelchair accessible and can be reached via by AC Transit District local bus lines 20, 31, and 51A, plus Transbay lines O, OX, and W. Free parking will be available in the student lots off of Campus Drive.
