Meet our newest intern, Cassandra Peralta, a rising second-year student at UC Berkeley. Cassie is currently pursuing a degree in economics with a minor in public policy. With this background, she hopes to dedicate her life to public service, advancing progressive ideals in policy areas--such as education, women’s rights, and voting rights--that benefit all people. When she isn't working, she enjoys collecting stationery, going on scenic hikes, and hanging out with her dog.

While at the League this summer Cassie will be working on a variety of projects including advocacy legislation support at the Capitol, administrative support for our My League Online website platform as well as talking to members and supporters who call us on the phone.
