LWV in CARD's 4th of July Parade

Instructions for participants in CARD's 4th of July parade.  We Leaguers will be marching behind a banner, carrying League signs and handing out Vote 411 info to whoever is interested.   Plan to wear something that is bi-partisanly purple.   Instructions from CARD:As you prepare for the big day, we ask that you bring patience, positivity, and kindness with you, especially during load-in and throughout the parade.

Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights  and to remember that in America, the power lies with the people. On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, we’re taking action across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, there is a full-scale attack on our civil and human rights.

We’re back for our 3rd Annual Ice-Cream Crawl!It's like a pub crawl but with ice cream and boba tea. Have fun with food and drink and your League friends!We will meet at SF Gelateria at 2621 Broadway, Downtown Redwood City, and walk along Broadway, visiting two boba shops along our path to Humphrey Slocombe Ice Cream at the intersection of Jefferson Ave.No registration is required.
