Our Santa Cruz County League will meet to discuss proposals for the California State League’s program on Wednesday, January 25 from 1 to 3 pm. This meeting will be held in person at the home of Sandy Warren in Santa Cruz, and is open to all LWVSCC members. If you wish to attend, please RSVP directly to Sandy by Friday, January 20 via email (see contact info below). All About the Parks! Hear about Measure P from Aaron Aguirre, Director of PARCS - Parksm After School Recreation and Community Services. In addition, Kimberly McCoy, Board Chair for PARCS will speak. The PARS board is tasked with helping the city provide transparency and accountability to voters while ensuring proper planning and budget of Measure P funds.
