Climate Change: Advocating for Action.  Recent reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and many other sources, reinforce that the moment to accelerate action to address climate change is now. The first step in any collective response to a major threat is communication. We need to be talking about climate change as easily and often as we talk about any other challenge we face.However, talking about climate can be hard. The underlying systems are complex and partisan politics has muddied the waters.

The Valley Book Club will meet via Zoom to discuss the book The Agitators: Three Friends Who Fought for Abolition and Women's Rights by renown author, Dorothy Wickenden. This is a story set in pre-Civil War America of three women who fought for abolition of slavery and for women's rights.  Ms. Wickenden used letters and extensive research to trace the friendship and activism of Harriet Tubman, Martha Coffin Wright and Frances A.
