The winners of the "Why Vote?" video contest are:

2nd Place: "Don't Be Lazy" by Edgar Alvarado from Cerritos Community
College.

3rd Place: "You Get What You Vote For" by Pete Bohnhof & Eric Schell
from Butte College.

A PSA video contest on "Why Vote?", a collaboration between the Student Senate for the California Community Colleges, the Foundation for the California Community Colleges, the League of Women Voters of California, and the Easy Voter Guide Project, asked California community college students to submit videos on the importance of voting. First place won $500, to be shown on statewide television, the Easy Voter Guide YouTube Channel, and the statewide League of Women Voters of California Convention; Second place $300, and Third Place $200.
